Switzerland County Tourism is accepting entries for the second quarter of its Picture Switzerland County 2009 Photography Contest. The deadline is March 11 at 5:00 pm. A minimum of $2400 in cash prizes will be awarded throughout the contest, which includes a $1000 Grand Prize award.

Henager’s Memories & Nostalgia has opened the largest Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial exhibit in Indiana. The museum is located on Hwy. 57 in Buckskin, Indiana. One of Elkhart County’s newest ventures is the Quilt Gardens Tour, a collection of 12 gardens featuring 60,000 flowers and nearly a dozen super-sized murals (as seen above). Work your way through Northern Indiana’s Amish Country along the Heritage Trail and stop and smell the Quilt Gardens along the way.
