Mass Ave is Indy’s downtown arts and theater district. The street was laid out in 1821 and was added to the National Register of Historical Places in 1981. This street has everything from historic architecture, to art galleries, to a restaurant with that has pizza that was voted Indy’s best. Popular stores to visit on this street include Silver in the City, Global Gifts, and Mass Ave Toys. This street is also home to events such as Indy Fringe Fest, Indy Fringe Fest, and Circle City Pride.
